Week 5 class and homework
Thhis week in class I made a quick data visualisation about cats using excel. I don’t think it was a very effective way to show the problem because the mammal, bird and reptile columns are roughly the same size and the true impact of the problem doesn’t sink in. I would like to use photoshop instead to make a more visually exciting image.

I think the image below is good because it clearly shows where harmful elements such as chromium, lead and iron sit in relation to the EPA guidelines. The paper itself gives all the exact figures but this shows a snapshop.

This next data visualisation I found very confusing. There is so much information in it and it wasn’t possible to zoom in and get clearer text
